Social events...

A lot of really good things are being set up in the guild as of late.. Some people are working very hard and we should all be entering into the spirit of things and make it as much fun as possible..

So, I have been scratching my head and planning out a couple of events that we may be able to get involved with.. Over the next couple of days I will introduce a competition for the guild to get involved in..
Prizes will be given, good ones!!

So keep checking the forum for an update very soon.

I also thought, as an afterthought, of a mini lottery.. Guildies could give one gold and roll for a random number. Then on a set day one of the officers could roll a number and the winner (or one closest) gets the pot - maybe a small cut for the vault fund..
This may not be the best idea however, as I believe Blizzard frown on these kind of gambling games.. Your choice guys!!

I also have an idea for an alternative to a guild race - a game of escorting a low level through a set path.. More on that at the weekend..

Why would the lottery be a bad idea?
We just need to find a nice way to do it ...

Blizz has some rules when it comes to gambling.. It should be ok if the players do not bet gold (pay to participate) but stuff is randomly given to them through rolls or something. And only guild vault stuff is used. Point is, extra care is needed so we don't step over the line.

Personally I prefer the idea of people winning something through some kind of competition, like escorting a lvl1, racing somewhere etc.. But that's just me, I don't like gambling.

I like the idea of doing a race again, might be more interesting if we all create level 1's (Feronalt) etc. and then race through a set area to avoid difference in stats.

Have seen a few videos of people doing that sort of thing, and always thought it looked like fun, it's such a huge game I like that if you're imaginative you can have fun in lots of different ways
